Christmas Concerts

Yohanna will be appearing at major Christmas concerts being held in Reykjavík on the 4th and 11th of December. She will be duetting with her 2009 Eurovision competitor Alexander Rybak for the first time! Full details and ticket sales information will follow soon.

"Nordic Youth" celebration in Finland

Yohanna will perform in Finland as part of the "Nordic Youth" celebration. The "Is it true?" concerts will take place on Sunday 16th May at 19.00 in Nilsiä church and on Monday 17th May at 19.00 in the Church of Kuopio. These events have been rescheduled from April, due to the Icelandic volcano.

Many congratulations to Hera Björk on her selection to represent Iceland in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo with her song "Je Ne Sais Quoi". Hera sang backing vocals for Yohanna at the ESC in 2009, so let's hope she can repeat that success.

Yohanna to sing at Children's Cancer Charity Concert in Reykjavík

Yohanna will sing alongside other Icelandic singing stars, including:

SÁLIN HANS JÓNS MÍNS, INGÓ OG VEÐURGUÐIRNIR, STÓRSVEITIN BUFF, HVANNDALSBRÆÐUR, FRIÐRIK ÓMAR & JOGVAN, JÓHANNA GUÐRÚN, SKÍTAMÓRALL, DIKTA, ÍSLENSKA SVEITIN, RAGNHEIÐUR GRÖNDAL, BOLLYWOODSHOW YESMINE , GEIR ÓLAFSSON

to raise money for "Styrktarfélag krabbameinssjúkra barna" children's cancer charity.

The Concert takes place on Saturday 16th January 2010 and is hosted by Reykjavik University.
